Mornington All Ages Gig & Afternoon Tea

Matrescence Festival presents an all ages live music and afternoon tea event with musican Claire Tonti and local birth educator, yoga teacher and doula Felicity Pountney from Avocado Baby.

Known for her deeply honest songwriting and work exploring Matrescence — the transformation of m/otherhood — Claire shares songs from her album Matrescence as well as some new songs too. Suitable for all ages! Babies very welcome! This show is parent accessible.

Avocado baby founder Felicity Pountney, leads pre and postnatal yoga classes, teaches birth education, offers doula support & Mother's Circles, on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. She will lead some beautiful all ages yoga as well as be involved in an open Q and A on Matrescence (the transition to motherhood) and how to best support us through that huge transition.

Mobility and Accessibility:

This is an all-ages event and babies are warmly welcome. In the spirit of the Matrescence Festival, children are part of the experience rather than separate from it. Music levels will be kept low and noise-reduction headsets will be available for the Eltham and Mornington shows. Soft play mats will be set up in the space, and afternoon tea will be served to create a relaxed, family-friendly environment.
